In the late afternoon we go to the heart of the Trnovo forest.
When visiting the nature reserve, we learn about the attractions of our forest.
Before leaving for the observatory, we check the rules of safetx and the principles of successful observation.
After a short and easy walk through the forest, we climb to the observatory.
We sit and wait for the animals to come. We listen in silence to the sounds of the forest.
The entire program, including transportation, lasts approximately 3.5 hours, of which 2 hours at the observatory.

Note: Although we observe wild animals at the feeding ground (that increases the chance of sightings), we cannot guarantee their presence during the observation.

We start our day at the panoramic view of the valley from the edge of Trnovo, with short walk to the natural wonder – the stone window.
While ovelooking the “freezing pocket” – a temperature phenomenon, we will treat ourselves to a snack of local delicacies.
The drive will take us along forest paths, where we will observe a large part of the Trnovo forest. We will learn about the attractions of our forest system and its flora and fauna.
In the evening before leaving for the observatory, we check the rules of safe movement and the principles of successful observation.
After a short and easy walk through the forest, we climb to the safety of observatory.
We sit and wait. We listen in silence to the sounds of the forest. With a little luck we will see the wild animals that come near us in their natural habitat.
The entire program, including transportation, lasts approximately 7 hours, of which 2 hours at the observatory.

We will start the day by exploring the wider surroundings at beautiful panoramic viewpoint.
The drive will take us through the pristine Trnovo Forest, where we will be able to observe the wild surroundings of nature.
While ovelooking the “freezing pocket” – a temperature phenomenon, we will treat ourselves to a snack of local delicacies.
Later we will start a walk on the forest meadow, where we will learn about the flora and fauna of the Trnovo Forest through family games and tasks.

Trnovo forest is a unique outdoor classroom where primary and secondary school students discover authentic nature and its ecosystem through play and exploration. We will start the journey in Mala Lazna. The guide will walk you along 3 hour circular path in forest. Children will be divided into working groups. Tasks will lead them to explore the ecosystem of the Trnovo forest. Along the way we will observe “freezing pocket” – temperature phenomen, forest three giant, Ice cave… We will get to know about flora and fauna of Trnovo, forest management, ecology & importance of forest preservation. We want to give kids a simple, yet profound and important view of the nature – about the importance of preserving and sustainably using ecosystems for the overall functioning of the planet.
